2023 Cambrian Mountains Autumn Photography Competition-The winning photo!

"Subtle autumn tones and colours, with carefully balanced composition, showing unmistakeable Cambrian Mountains landscape."

Scott Waby's comments on the winning entry in this year's competition.

Many thanks to all those who submitted an entry for this year's photography competition.

We're pleased to announce that Anwen Jones' image of Llyn Glaslyn at Uwch Y Coed on Glyndwr's Way, and near Foel Fadian Dylife, was the winning entry.

You can also see the mid and southern Cambrian Mountains range in the background, with Pumlumon Fawr as the highest point.

Anwen is from Darowen, Machynlleth.

Llongyfarchiadau mawr Anwen.

A big thank you to local photographer and videographer Scott Waby, a big supporter of all things Cambrian Mountains, for completing the difficult task of choosing this astounding image.

The winning entry was announced at the Cambrian Mountains Food, Drink and Craft Fair on 28/10/23 at 1pm.
